The Difference Between Being Rich and Being Wealthy
It’s strange that not many people actually know the difference between being rich and being wealthy.
So I thought I’d just write a few words to explain it to you. I often get asked why these two words, that mean the same thing, get used in the same sentence. The truth is that they don’t mean the same thing!
Yes, they both point in the same direction, but they definitely don’t have the same outcomes in the end. So what is actually the difference?
Being Rich
Rich to me means that you are cashflow rich, but still have to work your fingers to the bone to keep that security. You have to wake up early and go to work to make someone else wealthy whilst you believe that being rich is all there is to be. When you’re rich, you don’t make your own rules, other people make them for you.
Being Wealthy
Wealth can be described as freedom. Financial freedom. You make money work for you. You have a lot of rich guys steering your different businesses all around the world. Everyday you decide what you’re going to be doing. You decide who you’re going to see, where you’re going to check in. You make the rules now, no one makes it for you.
Being wealthy doesn’t come easy, but is totally worth it. Work hard, stay motivated, invest wisely and don’t doubt your dreams. Because if you can dream it, you can do it.
